About the full IELTS Speaking mock test
This free mock interview follows the structure of the real IELTS Speaking test in about 13 minutes. Part 1 starts with an introduction and short questions on three familiar topics, with a 30-second answer target for each. Part 2 gives you a cue card, one minute to prepare notes, and up to two minutes to speak. Part 3 finishes with four discussion questions linked to the cue card theme. Questions are chosen at random from the SpeakingIELTS library, so every attempt is different.
How the practice works
Press Start and speak. The examiner reads each question aloud and your answer timer starts automatically, just like the real interview; press Next when you finish early, or Pause at any time. If you allow recording, audio stays in your browser and is never uploaded, and you can listen back to every answer at the end. SpeakingIELTS does not predict band scores; use the self-evaluation checklist to review your answers, browse all IELTS Speaking topics and questions, or read about the free IELTS mock test.
