About IELTS Speaking Part 2 cue card practice
In Part 2, the long turn, you receive a cue card describing a person, place, object, or experience. You have one minute to prepare and then speak for up to two minutes. This mode gives you a random cue card with a preparation timer and a notes area. Write only keywords, cover every point on the card, and keep speaking until the examiner stops you.
How the practice works
Press Start and speak. The examiner reads each question aloud and your answer timer starts automatically, just like the real interview; press Next when you finish early, or Pause at any time. If you allow recording, audio stays in your browser and is never uploaded, and you can listen back to every answer at the end.
